Another lovely time of sharing and eating in the woods, hearing about the exciting life and testimony of Olive Perry. Many thanks to all who came along!

The weather forecast had given rain, but we prayed for sunshine, and sunshine we were given! Another Saturday breakfast down in the woods, this time enjoyed by nine females with an age range of nearly 80 years. It was a morning of inter-generational fellowship: fire, food and fun.
Dawn was head chef once again, supplying us all with porridge and fruit, followed by egg and bacon rolls, then croissants and coffee.
Some of the ladies went for a stroll in the woods, picking wild blackberries to go into that blackberry and apple crumble! Once regathered around the fire, Victoria shared some of her testimony and then the group was left to dwell on God’s goodness in the lives of us all.
We aim to have another ladies’ breakfast in the woods on Saturday October 22nd, weather permitting. So, wrap up warm and come and gather around the fire. As the temperature drops, we may consider moving indoors, but we are keen to enjoy the outdoors for as long as we can!
Imagine if you can, being surrounded by a forest of Christmas trees, the sun Ray’s fighting through each branch to bring you it’s warmth and the echoes of woodland animals somehow through their song bringing the woodland to life as a new day begins.
This is the setting that 15 or so ladies experienced on Saturday 27th August 2022. Sitting around a campfire, indulging in probably more breakfast than they usually would, the ladies enjoyed a relaxed and serene couple of hours just taking in the atmosphere and the fellowship.
From homemade porridge to bacon and eggs being cooked on an open fire in a massive paella dish, one by one the ladies were encouraged to relax and to enjoy each other’s company.
As breakfast came to an end, we turned our attention and focus to one of the ladies in particular. She shared her testimony and how God had particularly moved in different areas of her life. Many women were deeply moved by her powerful words and you could sense the presence of the Holy Spirit.
Not only were we fed spiritually and physically but each lady was given the opportunity out of their busy schedule just to come and relax at the feet of Jesus. It was a very special time.

This was the first men’s event that we’ve held since things started to open up again after Covid.
22 men came altogether and David’s testimony was a real pleasure to hear.
Even by the following morning we were starting to hear testimonies that had happened as a result of conversations there, and I’m sure we’re going to hear more, so many thanks to everyone who pitched in and especially to Paul for all of the work setting the place up. A great start to live up to!!
It’s now July 2022 and we are ready to start sharing things that we have been hearing from the Lord again.
An introduction to this is the new video from Paul that is available here
